Volunteer Registration is open for 2026!
Each year the Morton Pumpkin Festival, anticipates the need for over 1,500 volunteers! If your co-workers, friends, or family members would like to help, click the button below to see all the volunteer opportunities!
Volunteers that help at the Pumpkin Festival will receive Pumpkin Bucks that may be redeemed at the Pumpkin Drive Thru, Sweet Shop, Grill, and at the Pancake Breakfast.

Volunteer Give Back Sign - Up
Through the Morton Pumpkin Festival Give Back Fund, a financial donation is given back to non-profit and youth-focused organizations that volunteer their time at the Festival. For every 10 volunteers that work one full shift, the festival will donate $200 back to the organization. Festival Give Back Groups will need to note that on their digital sign-up form as well as send their W-9 after signing up to accounting@mortonillinois.org
Pumpkin Grill
Work a shift or two at our Pumpkin Grill as a server, washer, or griller. Individuals and business or organization teams are welcome!
Pumpkin Sweet Shop
Dish up pumpkin delights in this special tent. Individuals and business or organization teams are welcome!
Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast
Help out during our famous pumpkin pancake breakfast, held on the Saturday morning of the Festival.
Parade Volunteer
Help with parade line-up and crowd safety during the parade.
Festival Clean Up Volunteer
Specific clean up duties will be assigned upon arrival, but assistance will be needed in tearing down the Festival on Sunday morning.
Festival Tray Washing Sign Up
Help clean dishes at the festival food tents.
